2015 Mercedes-Benz S-Class

Sharp, sleek, sophisticated and simply awesome are all ways to describe the look of the S-Class offered for 2015. This is one luxury car the really does look like it jumped right out of a James Bond movie and is showing off for the whole world to enjoy. With a smooth and long line across the hood to the windshield and a low-swept angle back this car sits low and looks sporty as well as classy.

Not only does the S-Class look really cool, and sits ready to replace the old CL-Class as the ultra-premium offering from Mercedes-Benz, but it comes equipped with some outstanding features that make the driving even more of a joy than they otherwise would be. Some of these features include the curve-tilting cornering assistance system which is integrated in to the Active Body Control suspension that allows the car to lean into a corner and keep a tight hug on that corner and maximize speed through the turn. This also helps to increase a passenger’s comfort when going through curves and turns at any speed by reducing the centrifugal force that is applied to the passenger.

The coupe version of the S-Class will be slightly shorter in length than the sedan version allowing for the sportier and more appealing looks that coupes offer over sedans of almost any model. The looks of the S-Class from the front and the back offer interest and intrigue that many will admire and desire with a front fascia that is full of interesting details and side sculpting and a rear end that shows up with a slim-line two piece LED taillight and a trunk lid that has an integrated spoiler and lower diffuser that holds the dual exhaust ports. The wheels are simply poetry in motion as the heavily multi-spoked wheels of either 18 or 20-inches adorn the wheel wells in style and sophistication. The panorama glass roof offers an almost 50 percent larger size than the outgoing CL-Class and the Magic Sky Control offers electrochromic lightening/darkening with just the touch of a button.

Under the hood is found a 4.7-liter direct injected twin turbo V8 engine that is mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission and offers up to 449 horsepower and 516 lb.-ft. of torque; a serious amount of power to get this high class act moving quickly. Along with this awesome engine and suspension comes the 4Matic all-wheel drive system offering even more control for owners to enjoy.

Onboard are a host of safety features that include Collision Prevent Assistance, Active Lane Keeping Assistance, Steering and Braking Assist Plus, Cross Traffic Assist, Pre-Safe Brake with Pedestrian Recognition and Collision Prevention Assist Plus. All these safety features help to feed information to the driver to help make the drive in the S-Class one of the most enjoyable and safest money can buy.

Inside the S-Class is found a full set of four contoured seats, a wraparound dashboard, dual TFT screen displays, an audio system complete with surround sound, a heads up display and Nappa leather upholstery. All of these and many other luxury laden features make the S-Class the flagship of the Mercedes-Benz lineup and a lot of fun to drive.

When searching for one of the best looking and fully equipped luxury cars on the plant for not an overly exorbitant price the S-Class fills the bill. With a ton of great features to enjoy, a powerful engine, and looks that appear to have jumped right off the silver screen the S-Class is one high-end luxury car that any owner will appreciate and enjoy for many years.
