When the galloping pony shows itself on the front of the Mustang what do you feel? Are you a bit nostalgic about a Mustang you might have had many years ago or do you feel excited to see your first Mustang and are ready for the ride? This engine when paired with the transmissions show off with a fuel efficiency of 17 city/28 hwy mpg for the manual and 19 city/28 hwy mpg for the automatic.

Next up is the all new engine which is actually smaller than the base engine and outperforms it for power and fuel mileage. This engine is a 2.3-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine that carries up to 310 horsepower and 320 lb.-ft. of torque. This engine gives a great fuel efficiency coming in at 22 city/31 hwy mpg for the manual transmission and 21 city/32 hwy mpg for the automatic transmission.

At the top of the lineup, powering the GT the engine is a 5.0-liter V8 engine that shows up with 435 horsepower and 400 lb.-ft. of torque. This engine gives a fuel mileage of 15 city/25 hwy mpg for the manual transmission and 16 city/25 hwy mpg for the automatic. No matter which engine is inside your Mustang this lineup of Ford cars can make great daily drivers as well as being high powered sports cars.

With a very appealing interior the Mustang offers comfort and style with a racing theme and performance gauges to help show what is going on under the hood. All controls are easy to reach for the driver and the space inside is generous enough for anyone to be able to drive the car and most people to be comfortable in the backseat. The trunk space is great for a sports car at 13.5 cubic feet which expands when the rear seat is folded down.

On the outside the Mustang looks like something out of the 1960’s with a very modern twist. It’s a highly recognizable shape and look that has prowled the American landscape for fifty years giving thoughts of the Mustangs of old. For this Mustang the standard features includes a great list. This list is taken in three trims the V6, EcoBoost and GT. Starting at the V6 the standard offerings include push button starting, a six-speaker audio system with an auxiliary port, a rearview camera, Ford’s Sync communication and entertainment system, HID headlights, 17-inch wheels, selectable effort power steering and Track Apps which shows performance metrics for the driver. The EcoBoost model adds six-way power front seats and 18-inch wheels while the GT adds 19-inch wheels, the line lock feature and launch control on the manual transmission models.

The optional features offers for the Mustang are performance laden and add a lot to this already amazing vehicle. This long list includes power front seats, parking sensors, the automatic transmission, a twelve-speaker Shaker audio system a navigation system, leather upholstery, blind spot monitoring, forward collision alerts, adaptive cruise control, heated and cooled front seats and performance packages. Both the EcoBoost and GT models can be outfitted with the 50th anniversary package with leather seats and commemorative badges.

Starting at the base model the Mustang comes in with a price of $24,425 which makes this sports car one that is very affordable for just about anyone. The EcoBoost comes in starting just below $26,000 and the GT will open the pricing floor near $33,000. For a convertible model the opening price point comes in just below $30,000 and a loaded GT coupe can reach up to the mid-$40,000 range with the convertible coming very close to $50,000. With this wide price range there is certainly a Mustang out there for anyone who loves true Americana and wants to fully enjoy the ride in a high performing and comfortable riding sports car.
