2019 Lamborghini Urus: Wearing the Bull

Picture a charging or fighting bull and you’re going to think of the muscular power and charging danger that this massive animal can offer. This is the creature that has been the logo for the Lamborghini brand since the brand was born. Over the years that we’ve enjoyed this brand we’ve seen many different high-powered sports cars that have been lauded as some of the best on the market brought to the tracks and the streets that we drive. We’ve loved to cheer on these impressive models just as much as those who head to the arena cheer on the bull or the matador that’s on the field of battle.

Not only have the Lamborghini vehicles offered been high-powered machines of speed and precision, the typical build of a car from this brand offers sharp and aggressive lines that appear to be harshly crafted with heavy materials and surfaces. If you’re an owner of one of these cars you admire and enjoy the incredible supercar that you drive and soon you’re going to have the ability to add a partner vehicle to your sports car that will offer you the qualities you’ve been looking for in the growing SUV market.

The Urus is Coming

Starting on December 4, the new Urus will be shown at the headquarters of Lamborghini in Sant’ Agata. The new Lamborghini Urus is the first SUV that’s going to be right for you to put together with your sports car. This amazing SUV will bring in the shape and look that you expect from this bullish brand while giving you the power and precision you’ve become accustomed to as well. We’ve seen photos and videos of the Urus since it was first offered as a concept model, and now the first production models will head out on the roads.

Under the hood of the Urus will be a massive 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine that’s expected to produce around 650 horsepower. This SUV will be based on a similar architecture to the Bentley Bentayga and the Audi Q7. The team at Lamborghini is calling this SUV as Super Sport Utility Vehicle which is a nod to the fact that it’s the most performance oriented and fastest crossover that will be on the market when it finally reaches the launch date and head out on the roads for your driving enjoyment.

The look of sloping lines and a higher ride height make this new SUV one that’s extremely unique on the road. For the first year, there will be about 1,000 units offered with the production ramping up to a maximum of 3,500 units per year. This is as much as the total production of all the models for Lamborghini each year, which gives you an idea of the expected following and desire for an SUV from this brand. It’s time for Lamborghini to offer a bull that is large and charging across rough terrain and the new Urus is the SUV that will get the job done and show off in the process.
