Three Rows of Riding in the Kia Telluride

The Kia team has presented us with the 2020 Kia Telluride which will be a three-row, eight-passenger SUV that will head out on the roads.

Kia has been able to offer us three rows of driving in the minivan of the Sedona in the past, but the Sedona was never meant to be an off-road vehicle that you could take on an adventure in the wilderness.  This SUV was originally scheduled to make its debut in Detroit in January but showed up four months early because Kia was too excited to keep it a secret any longer.

Probably More Subdued than the Debut

Arriving at the New York Fashion Week event, the Kia Telluride appeared with several rugged extras that will likely not be offered in the production model. It seems, this Kia would have been more at home at SEMA in Las Vegas, but New York is where the Kia team chose to show off this impressive SUV. The extras offered on this debut model included a snorkel, a winch, off-road lights, a ram bar, a side ladder, a luggage rake, a rear-mounted spare tire, and a few others.

Items You Will See in the Telluride

Once you take away all the extras that won’t make their way to the production model of the Kia Telluride for the 2020 model year, you’ll see a big and boxy SUV that’s right for the drive. Up front, a big and rectangular grill uses a chrome mesh and the name is spelled out on the hood and on the tailgate of the vehicle. In the rear, you’ll see two-piece vertical taillights that look smart. Inside, the finishes are saddle-colored leather and natural wood to give you a style that makes sense for the drive.

Going Under the Hood of this Kia

When it arrives on the market, the Kia Telluride will be powered by a V6 engine that will make the power you need when you drive. There’s likely to be a turbocharged four-cylinder engine that will be offered as the base engine as well to make this an SUV that can be the right one for you to drive on the road. This bigger SUV will be more luxurious and more comfortable than the current Sorento model to make it an SUV that you can enjoy when you drive.
