The New 2020 GMC Sierra HD has a lot of Tech

GMC has finally revealed the new 2020 Sierra HD and it shows off as a much more subtle truck than its sibling, the Chevrolet Silverado HD. This new GMC model brings you a simple build that reflects the same rugged and handsome build of the Sierra 1500 to give you the look and the qualities you want to enjoy before you ever get inside and take a ride. Once you open the door and step into this truck, you’ll see an amazing array of features that are right for your comfort, for the work you need to do, and to give you an excellent ride.

The Power You’ll Love in this GMC

The Sierra HD offers you a heavy-duty GM powertrain to give you plenty of power for the drive. This truck can be powered by a 6.6-liter turbocharged Duramax V8 diesel engine that makes 445 horsepower and 910 lb.-ft. of torque. This engine is the same one as in the previous models of this truck but now it’s attached to a ten-speed automatic transmission for the drive. There will be a gasoline engine offered as well, but we don’t have the details for that engine just yet.

Features that Make the Sierra HD the Right Truck

With a big truck, you have the opportunity to have several new features to be added for the drive. The new Sierra HD gives you new steps in the bedsides, the MultiPro tailgate with its drop step, a trailer camera system that gives you up to 15 possible viewpoints, and the GM rear-view mirror screen that projects the image from the rearview camera onto the rearview mirror to give you a clear and unobstructed view of the lanes of the road behind you.

More Offered in the Sierra HD

The new 2020 GMC Sierra HD will be offered with an AT4 model which is an off-road trim that will give you the features you want to enjoy when you head out for a drive. This version of the truck will give you a dark grill and trim pieces, reworked springs and shocks, skid plates, standard all-terrain tires, and a locking rear differential. These items will make it easier for you to have the drive you want in the Sierra HD that you want to take out on the road or on the trails.

The Wait Continues

You can’t purchase the new 2002 GMC Sierra HD just yet. This truck won’t be offered for sale until this summer and the pricing for the truck has yet to be announced. We’ll learn more about the specifications and features offered for this truck as we get closer to the actual on-sale date. Until then, visit your nearby GMC dealer and discuss this truck that will arrive later in the year; they will be more than happy to tell you more about what you can expect when the new heavy-duty Sierra finds its way to their dealership lot.
