Recently, we’ve seen new versions of what the GM and Ram teams will offer when it comes to the heavy-duty pickup truck market in 2020, but we hadn’t heard much of anything from the Ford team until now. With Ford adding its name to the mix of new and big trucks to drive, we’re going to see an extremely competitive model year.

There are a number of excellent items offered when it comes to the technology that’s offered by Ford. This truck now receives standard embedded 4G LTE Wi-Fi connectivity for up to ten devices, wireless charging for your devices, USB-C charging ports, a pre-collision assist system, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, and much more. These improvements make it possible for you to have the Ford Super Duty and know that you have an office on wheels or the ability to keep your family connected when you take them on an adventure during the weekend.

More of What You Want in a Ford Engine

There’s a brand new big-block V8 engine that will make its way under the hood of the Ford Super Duty family for you to have the power you’re looking for. This new engine will replace the outgoing 6.8-liter V10 engine to give us a new 7.3 liters for the displacement you’re looking for. Right now we don’t have the power numbers for this new engine, but you can expect it to be powerful. The third-generation of the Power Stroke diesel V8 engine is also going to be offered to give us the low-end torque you want for the big jobs.

Adding more to the Drivetrain of the New Ford Super Duty

The transmission that will be used for the new version of the Super Duty from Ford will be a ten-speed automatic transmission. This new gearbox gives us more gear for the shifting you’ll love along with a range of driving modes including Tow/Haul, Eco, Slippery, Deep Sand, and Snow.
