Chevrolet’s 2022 EV Lineup Charges Ahead
Have you noticed how many electric vehicles are on the road lately? EVs have come a long way in the past ten years, and more manufacturers, including Chevrolet, are jumping into the market with both feet, adding all-electric vehicles to their lineup in every market segment. Chevrolet’s most recent addition is the Bolt EUV. This crossover-style vehicle is an alternative to the popular Bolt EV, which received a significant update for the 2022 model year. Let’s take a look at the 2022 EV lineup headed to a Chevrolet dealership’s lot this year.
The Bolt EV
The 2022 Bolt EV arrived on Chevrolet dealer lots with a bold new exterior look, updates inside and out, and new infotainment technology. Power for the Bolt EV still comes from a single electric motor with 200 horsepower, and this, combined with the 65 kWh battery, allows it to get a 259-mile range.
Although the exterior has a new look, the best changes are inside. The 2022 Bolt EV has a modern and comfortable cabin. It comes with a 10.2-inch touch screen display for the infotainment system, a wireless version of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and wireless charging comes standard at every trim level.
The Bolt EUV
There’s a new electric crossover SUV in town, and Chevy made sure it stands out. The new all-electric Chevrolet Bolt EUV rides on the same platform as the EV, but it has more room in the cabin and a crossover SUV body style.
The Bolt EUV gets power from the same 200 horsepower electric motor that powers the regular Bolt EV, and it uses the same 65 kWh battery. This combination allows the Bolt EUV to achieve a 247-mile range. Whether you are on the road or at home, you can charge your Bolt EUV with a 120-volt outlet, the optional 240-volt connection, or use DC fast charging. If you need a quick pick-me-up, the DC fast charging option will get you up to 95 miles of range in just a half-hour.
Take a Super Cruise Test Drive
You can be one of the first drivers to experience Chevrolets Super Cruise technology. The Bolt EUV is the first Chevy to offer this hands-free driving technology. On certain highways, you can take your hands off the wheel, and as long as you keep paying attention, the Bolt EUV will maintain its speed, slow down, or speed up to stay with traffic. It will also stay centered in its lane even when going around a curve on the highway. Don’t take your eyes off the road, though; it uses technology to make sure you’re alert and paying attention.
Join The Crowd and Make Your Next Ride a Chevrolet EV
You can say there is a lot to love about the 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EV and Bolt EUV, but that would be a huge understatement. Chevy’s latest electric vehicles have the performance, technology, and safety drivers now expect. They have all this in addition to components that make it easy to charge the battery and achieve a range that will put your mind at ease no matter how long your trip is.
