Dodge Streamlines Special Ordering Process
Dodge recently announced pricing for six of the seven Last Call special editions for the Charger and Challenger. It has also streamlined the special ordering system. Part of the new system is a Horsepower Locator, which is a web tool designed to help you find the Last Call cars that are being sent in limited numbers to Dodge dealerships around the country.
Find Your Last Call
There will be roughly 4,600 Last Call special editions of the Charger and Challenger. All are preconfigured, so there is no customizing, but they can be found via the Horsepower Locator. Unfortunately for legions of fans, the Charger and Challenger are about to end as we currently know them.
All 2023 Challenger and Charger models will come with a Last Call plaque beneath the hood to commemorate the end of an era. Dodge has also debuted six special editions of the muscle car models. Finding one at your local Dodge dealership might be difficult, but now you have the Horsepower Locator. Horsepower fans can use the tool to get in touch with any Dodge dealer that has an allocation of the special editions and order one.
Where the Final Editions Are Going
Is your local Dodge dealer one of the top-selling dealerships? Dodge is sending the special editions to 500 of its top-selling dealerships, and supplies will be limited to 12 for the top 200, 10 for the next 100, and then the remaining 200 will only have access to six.
Some of the names for special editions include Shakedown, Super Bee, King Daytona, Scat Pack Swinger, and Black Ghost. The names are retro for a reason–bringing us back to the early days of carbureted muscle. As previously mentioned, the Last Call editions are preconfigured, which is why the Horsepower Locator is so crucial for fans to find the one they want.
Using the Horsepower Locator
To start, go to DodgeGarage.com and look for the Horsepower Locator. This tool tracks which Dodge dealerships will get specific special editions, and it also tracks how many are available.
The tool also shows Dodge dealership allocations, which gives you a head start on ordering what you want. All 2023 SRT models have the Jailbreak designation, which means customization limits are fully expanded to include many more options for paint, interior trim, wheels, and more. Colors like Plum Crazy purple, Destroyer Gray, and Sublime green have all returned for 2023 as well.
The following list shows the currently-announced prices for the Last Call Models from lowest to highest:
- Dodge Charger Super Bee $63,400
- Dodge Challenger Shakedown $65,185
- Dodge Challenger Widebody Swinger $67,785
- Dodger Charger Widebody Super Bee $68,895
- Dodger Challenger Widebody Shakedown $69,085
- Dodge Charger Widebody Swinger $71,285
- Dodge Charger King Daytona $100,015
- Dodge Challenger Black Ghost $100,910
The debut of the seventh Last Call edition was originally planned for a November SEMA show reveal but has been delayed.
If you’re interested in one of these special editions, fire up the Horsepower Locator and get in touch with your Dodge dealership today. These won’t last long.
