2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV Coming Soon
The new 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV is expected to come in five trim levels that will cater to multiple types of potential customers. The design of the Equinox EV takes the Chevrolet SUV to new levels with a distinctive front end and futuristic elements.
Inside, you can expect the new Equinox EV to deliver plenty of space and cutting-edge tech. A starting price of $30,000 helps the Equinox appeal to a range of customers.
Five Diverse Trims
The Chevrolet Equinox EV will come in five trims, including the 1LT, 2LT, 2RS, 3LT, and 3RS. Each trim offers a generous complement of desirable features. For example, the base 1LT trim offers the most affordable starting price while still including a standard 11-inch infotainment screen.
Move up to the 2LT and you’ll get heated front seats, power seats, and a much larger 17.7-inch infotainment screen. The 3LT has even more with a hands-free liftgate and a panoramic sunroof.
The RS trims offer additional upgrades with impressive features like a heads-up display, Bose stereo system, and dual-zone climate control.
All versions of the Chevrolet Equinox EV feature a bold and stylish design with unique futuristic elements and an available two-tone paint job.
Roomy and Modern Interior
The Equinox EV’s roomy and modern interior is a step up from the regular Chevrolet Equinox. The cabin is expansive and outfitted with various luxury touches that get more prolific on the higher trims. Some available features inside the Equinox EV include leather upholstery, power seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and heated seats throughout.
Modern tech abounds in the Chevrolet Equinox EV’s cabin. The base 11-inch screen is already quite large, but the upper trims add a 17.7-inch screen. Most hard controls have been eliminated in this Chevy EV, to be replaced by touchscreens and the semi-autonomous Super Cruise feature.
The interior is closer in similarity to the Blazer EV versus the regular Equinox. With the rear seats folded, the Equinox EV can accommodate up to 57 cubic feet of cargo.
Adding Value To the EV Market
At a starting price of $30,000, the Chevrolet Equinox EV adds a lot of value to an increasingly crowded EV market. Consumers are now facing record inflation and continued roadblocks with the supply chain, but Chevrolet is committed to offering an attractive low starting price for this new EV. According to the VP of Global Sales at Chevrolet, the company is excited to add an exceptional vehicle in this affordable price range.
The EV market continues to evolve as more automakers and brands stack their lineups with new EV models. Chevrolet believes that the familiar Equinox nameplate as an EV will draw more customers to the electric arena. Many EV models also cost a lot more than their gas counterparts, so the Equinox EV’s affordable starting price is likely to gain more fans as well.
The Chevrolet Equinox EV offers 290 horsepower with e-AWD, 300 miles of range, a towing capacity of 1,500 pounds, and a zero to 60 time of six seconds.
